Gina Stoll has served in her role as Senior Associate Athletic Director/Senior Woman Administrator since 2021. Stoll was first elevated to senior staff as Associate Athletic Director/SWA in 2019, and started at WKU in 2016.
In her current role, Stoll is responsible for the oversite of the student-athlete development department, athletics human resources, championship operations, athletic facilities and event management department, game contracts, and serves as athletics' Title IX deputy. Stoll has sport supervision of WKU’s volleyball and women’s basketball programs. Stoll has previous experience overseeing WKU’s softball program. Stoll initiated and administered the launch of Hilltopper CLIMB program in the summer of 2021 and serves as the senior-level administrator over WKU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Stoll has an active role in Conference USA, with responsibilities that include actively serving as the WKU’s SWA liaison, CUSA sport oversite of softball, and currently serves on the officiating and awards committee.
Stoll was elected to the WKU Staff Senate in 2023 and was appointed Vice-Chair. Stoll is Chair for the annual TOPSY Awards banquet that recognizes and awards student-athletes across all WKU sports. She has graduated from the Staff Leadership Institute from Western Kentucky University’s Continuing and Professional Development program in 2019.
Nationally, Stoll was nominated and selected to the LEAD1 Institute in 2023, a series of seminars for senior level administrators set to become the next generation of athletic directors. She has also been a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), Women Leaders in College Sports (WLCS), and the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM). Stoll received her SHRM-CP certification in January 2022.
Stoll began her career at WKU serving as the Assistant Director of Facilities and Event Management in June 2016. She was responsible for daily upkeep of all athletic sport facilities, primary game management for several sports, access control for the entire athletic department, television broadcast liaison, credential distribution, work orders and service requests, security liaison, and capital project management.
Prior to WKU, Stoll was a Postgraduate Intern with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in Championship and Alliances and Playing Rules for the 2015-16 academic year. She worked with playing rules committees for all sports along with assisting in championship operations in various roles on seven different championships in her time there: DI Women’s Volleyball, DI FCS Football, Men’s and Women’s Rifle, DI Men’s Ice Hockey, Beach Volleyball, DII Festival, and DI Men’s College World Series. Stoll also had the opportunity to assist in the operations of the Army-Navy Football game in Philadelphia in 2015.
Prior to the NCAA, Stoll was a Graduate Assistant for Operations, Facilities, and Events at Georgia State University in Atlanta. She assisted with the daily operations and maintenance of all athletic facilities including scheduling practice times for all teams, as well as serving as game administrator for various sports. Stoll was selected as an attendee for the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar in 2015. During her time in Atlanta, Stoll worked various events for the Atlanta Falcons, the SEC football Championship, and the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Kickoff Games.
As a former student-athlete, she lettered four years in softball at the University of Delaware, where she was named to the 2011 All-Colonial Athletic Association Second Team. Stoll was a recipient of the Dr. Myles Brand Memorial Award in their Sport Management program. During her time in Newark, she was a Football Operations Intern for their FCS Football program.
Stoll is actively pursing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from WKU’s Gordan Ford College of Business and expects to graduate in May 2025. Stoll holds a Master of Science in Sports Administration from Georgia State University (2015) and a Bachelor’s of Science in Sport Management from the University of Delaware (2013).
A native to Elmhurst, IL, Stoll is married to Stephen Stoll II and they reside in Alvaton, KY.
