Chase Deal joined the WKU staff in June of 2024 as the Director of Athletic Compliance. In this role, Deal assists with student-athlete eligibility as well as compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations.
Prior to starting at WKU, Deal worked at the NCAA national office within the Eligibility Center for two and a half years as an Eligibility Certification Case Processor. In that role, Deal handled initial eligibility decisions for both domestic and international athletes as well as elevated tier escalations as a member of the quality control team. Additionally, Deal served as a Compliance Intern with Purdue-Fort Wayne’s athletic department for four months where he worked alongside the Assistant Director of Compliance.
Born and raised in Mishawaka, Ind., Deal graduated from Ball State University in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration.
Deal and his wife, Lauren now reside in Bowling Green with their dog Oakley.
