Charlie Weinberg joined the WKU Football staff as the Director of Football Equipment Operations in the spring of 2025.
Weinberg came to The Hill after a year as a Assistant Athletic Director of Equipment Operations at Wyoming. Prior to that, he spent two seasons at Wake Forest as the Assistant Equipment Manager of Football. He arrived at Wake Forest from Missouri State, and has also made stops in Charlotte, Tulsa and Marshall's football equipment rooms.
In these roles, Weinberg oversaw all day-to-day operation, assisted in all ordering, issuing and management of budgets for numerous sports, organized and oversaw practice and practice set-up and managed groups of student assistants and interns.
In addition to his experience in football, Weinberg spent the 2016 with the Dayton Dragons as a clubhouse manager.
Weinberg graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management and Marketing from Marshall in 2014. He also earned a masters of Education in Sports Management from Wright State University in 2018. Additionally, he is an AEMA Certified member.
Weinberg is joined in Bowling Green by his fiance, Lauren, and his children, Raelynn and Zoradia.
