Callahan Wiegandt joined the WKU staff in fall of 2025 as a Graduate Assistant for Student-Athlete Development & NIL.
Wiegandt, a former student-athlete with the Hilltopper Volleyball program, is responsible for helping student-athletes focus on personal, professional and brand growth while assisting in navigating Name, Image and Likeness opportunities. Wiegandt works with all of WKU's teams in this role.
While attending WKU, Wiegandt worked as an intern in WKU's Student-Athlete Development and NIL Office, was the WKU NIL Store Social Media Manager with Campus Ink for two years, and she has also worked as a coach with BRAVO Volleyball Club for four years.
Wiegandt, a setter/defensive specialist, appeared in 110 matches during her WKU Volleyball playing career. She was part of four regular-season Conference USA championships and three CUSA Tournament titles while with the Hilltoppers. She was the Fall 2025 CUSA Spirit of Service Award winner, the President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, a three-time CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll member and was on WKU's Dean's List.
Wiegandt is a native of Louisville, Kentucky. She graduated with a degree in Sport Management in December 2025 and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Recreation and Sport Administration.
