Lee has served as “Voice of the Hilltoppers” since 2007 after spending five years on the broadcast team at Nebraska.
Lee has been on the call for many major events in Hilltopper basketball history, including basketball wins over nationally-ranked Louisville, Wisconsin, Purdue and Vanderbilt, WKU’s trip to the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in 2008 and other NCAA Tournament births in 2009, 2012, and 2013, and the Hilltoppers’ run to the 2018 NIT Final Four.
Lee has also been on the call for every major historical event in the Hilltoppers’ FBS history, including consecutive Conference USA championships, wins over Kentucky, WKU’s first FBS win as well as their first bowl game as members of college football’s highest division.
Lee also serves as the host of the Rick Stansbury weekly radio show for WKU basketball and the host of the Tyson Helton weekly radio show for WKU football as well as the host for the Hilltopper pregame show.
