As a Redshirt-Senior (2025): Competed and started in all 33 matches for WKU including 106 of 108 possible sets... Earned her second consecutive CUSA Setter of the Year and CUSA All-Conference First Team... AVCA All-American Honorable Mention... 7x CUSA Setter of the Week... Led CUSA in assists with 1,110... Also recorded 225 digs, 88 kills, 32 blocks, and 25 service aces... Recorded a season-high 67 assists on Nov. 23 against FIU in the CUSA Tournament Championship match... Named CUSA All-Tournament team and tournament MVP... Posted season-high 15 digs against Jax State on Sept. 26... Recorded five double-doubles on the season to bring her career total 17... Finished her career as the leader in active career assists in all of NCAA (4,978)... Finished fourth all-time in WKU Volleyball history in career assists (4,978) and fifth in career assists per set (10.77)... During WKU's 100-match regular season conference winstreak, Bauer played in 63 of those matches.
As a Redshirt-Junior (2024): Competed in all 35 matches and 126 sets for WKU… CUSA Setter of the Year… AVCA All-Region First Team… CUSA First Team All-Conference… 4x CUSA Setter of the Week… College Sport Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team… Led CUSA in assists, totaling 1,387 on the season… Also marked with 300 digs, 96 kills, 57 blocks, and 36 aces during the 2024 season… Had a season-high 55 assists on Oct. 26 at UTEP… Posted a season-high 18 digs on Sept. 14 against Illinois… Marked 10 kills against Middle Tennessee for a season-high performance on Oct. 9…
As a Redshirt-Sophomore (2023): AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention...CUSA First Team All-Conference...CUSA All-Tournament Team...CUSA Preseason All-Conference... 2x CUSA Setter of the Week... saw action in all 35 matches and 119 sets as starting setter... led WKU and second in CUSA with 1,246 assists for a 10.47 per set average... top-20 nationally in total assists this season... heaviest offensive setter in Conference USA, picked up 136 kills for a .375 hitting percentage for a 1.14 kill/set average... tallied 27 service aces and 186 digs... picked up two double-doubles on the season... owned eight 40+ assist matches... season-high 59 assists against Western Michigan (9/16/23)... stuffed four solo and 59 assists for 63.0 blocks at the net... averaged .53 blocks/set... dumped 10 kills and no errors for a .667 hitting chart against Austin Peay (9/12/23)... stuffed 6.0 blocks against FIU (11/3/23).
As a Redshirt-Freshman (2022): C-USA Freshman of the Year... AVCA All-Region... C-USA First Team All-Conference... C-USA Freshman Team... 3x C-USA Setter of the Week... C-USA Co-Freshman of the Week... Hampton Inn Invite All-Tournament Team... HIUPI Tournament MVP... Played in all 33 matches, including all 111 sets as WKU's starting setter... averaged 11.14 assists per set for 1,236 assists on the year, led C-USA in both total and average... Picked up 56 total blocks, averaging .50 blocks a set... Completed the only triple-double in C-USA this season (10k, 29a, 19d) against Northern Kentucky (9/8/22) and the first for WKU since 2009... Earned three double-doubles on the year... Dumped seven kills over the net off of 12 attempts for a .500 hitting clip and career-high against Rice (11/10/22)... Recorded career-high 63 assists against Rice in the C-USA Tournament Championship (11/20/22).
2021: Redshirted the 2021 campaign.
2020-21: Graduated high school early and enrolled at WKU for the spring 2021 semester...Was not eligible to compete.
High School: Played her high school career at Hudson High School and is the three-time County Player of the Year in her area...Helped the Tigers clinch the district championships...Averaged 26.33 kills per match through 2020 district play combined with 17.33 digs per match...In 2019 Bauer led Hudson H.S. to a district and regional championship – the team’s first district championship since 1997...Recognized on PrepDig’s top-10 2021 setters in Michigan list....Earned first team MHSAA All-State selection as a sophomore, junior and senior...First team All-Region for the first three years of her prep career while also earning First Team All-County and All-League those seasons (2017-19) as well...Landed on the All-County Tournament Team all four years at Hudson H.S... As a sophomore, she earned a spot on the MaxPreps pre-season All-American prep volleyball team – a list comprised of just 37 names...Graduated in December 2020 and headed to WKU after earning seven varsity letters across her career at Hudson High School...Also lettered in basketball as a freshman and sophomore in addition to track and field for a season...Also a member of the National Honor Society and was involved in her high school’s student council and earned a spot on the All-State Academic Team.
Personal: Born May 1, 2003...Daughter of Jim and Tricia Bauer..Has an older sibling, Caiden...Majoring in marketing and minoring in graphic design on The Hill.
