As a Senior (2021): Played in all 30 matches and all 97 sets…Recorded 23 assists and 27 aces…Tallied 197 digs across the 2021 season for 2.03 per set… Season high of 13 digs against Loyola (Chicago)…Season-best five aces at Charlotte (11/7/21)…Six double-digit dig outings…Led WKU in aces in five matches and digs in four.
As a Junior (2020-21): Started 6 matches, appearing in all 24 matches and 78 sets…24 aces ranked second on the team and eighth in Conference USA…Led WKU in digs in four matches…Five multi-ace matches…Seven double-digit dig matches…Two career-best matches with 12 digs (vs. Marshall and Florida Atlantic)…Five multi-assist matches.
As a Sophomore (2019): Appeared in 89 sets across 29 matches, primarily as a serving specialist…Notched 29 digs, 12 aces and two assists on the season…Six multi-dig matches…Career-best 6 digs in WKU’s win over North Dakota State…Three multi-ace matches (Eastern Kentucky, Marshall and UAB)…4 assists in WKU’s home-opening win over Eastern Kentucky.
As a Freshman (2018): Appeared in 11 sets across nine matches in 2018 - including three sets against Alabama...Recorded an assist in WKU's win over Northern Illinois...Notched a perfect 1.000 serve-receive rating.
High School: Four-year letterwinner in volleyball at Morris Community HS...Set the MCHS record with 1,707 career assists and 162 aces...Two-time All-Northern Illinois Big 12 Conference honoree...Two-time Joliet Herald News All-Area Team selection...Helped MCHS to a 2016 regional championship.
Personal: Born April 3, 2000...The daughter of Chuck and Marcy Hood...Has three siblings, Timothy, Carley and Hayley...Mother was a setter for the Aurora University volleyball team...Majoring in nursing at WKU and accepted into nursing school.
