As a Redshirt Junior (2013): Burnette saw significant action in all 21 games for WKU in 2013, including seven starts...She proved to be a valuable presence in the midfield with her ball-clearing and service ability, helping set up goal opportunities for the Lady Toppers on a consistent basis...She fired four of her seven shots on goal for a shots on goal percentage of .571 and often served WKU[apos]s corner kicks...Burnette was credited with one assist on the year, helping set up Iris Dunn[apos]s equalizing goal in the second half of a 1-1 draw at Belmont on Sept.20...She logged over 800 minutes and played in every game for the second-straight season and enters 2014 ranked second on the team with 47 career matches played.
As a Redshirt-Sophomore (2012) -- Burnette was named WKU[apos]s Most Improved Player by the WKU coaching staff after playing in all 20 games and picking up five starts as a sophomore...Earned the first start of her career versus Tennessee on Aug. 19...Registered the first three assists of her career late in the season, assisting on goals at ULM, versus South Alabama and against Arkansas State in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament...Logged 840 minutes of action in WKU[apos]s midfield.
As a Redshirt-Freshman (2011)- Appeared in six matches in 2011 ... played a season-high 42 minutes against Ball State on Aug. 21.

Warren Central High School-- Two-time high school region player of the year... Member of the 2009 All-State Second Team... Ranks seventh in KHSAA Girls Soccer history with 61 career assists... Scored 101 career high school goals... Wendy[apos]s State Heisman Award winner in 2007 and 2008... Member of the SKY club team, coached by WKU assistant coach Chris Tinius.
