2021 (Sophomore): Named Conference USA Player of the Week on Aug. 31 and was named to the Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week the same week…Scored two goals in a 3-2 overtime win against Vanderbilt…Notched two assists against Marshall, including on the golden goal scored by Sophia Fondren…Also scored at FIU and had an assist on the game-winning goal at Belmont…Played in 15 matches and got the starting nod in 11...Earned the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal and was named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2021-22 academic year. Â
2020-21 (Freshman): Named to the Conference USA All-Freshmen Team…Got the starting nod in 10 matches…Netted the game-winning goal against Centre on a corner kick that bent in towards the goal, above the keeper’s reach…Tied for the team’s lead in assists with three on the season…Notched her first career assist in her first career game…Also recorded assists against Southern Illinois and Marshall…Was the primary corner kick taker for WKU all season…Earned the C-USA Commissioner's Academic Medal in 2020-21...Named to the 2020-21 C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Named to the Dean’s List in the fall and spring semesters.Â
Spring 2020: Joined the Lady Toppers early and was named to the President's List for the spring semester.
Prior to WKU: She was a two-time All-State honoree, four-time All-Conference honoree and Conference Player of the Year in 2018. She served as her team’s captain in 2018 and led the team in scoring throughout her high school career, scoring 50 goals and notching 31 assists. Micheels was part of the ODP Regional Pool 2014-19 and was part of the ODP Boca Interregional team from 2016-19. She played with the ODP East Region International Team, playing in Germany, Costa Rica and England. She participated in the ODP National Training Camp in 2017 and the U.S. Soccer National Training Center 2014-16. She led the Plattsburgh FC to a second place finish in the State Cup in 2018. In 2015, she helped Nordic SC to a State Cup Championship in Vermont. Micheels scored four goals with the New Jersey Elite at the Disney Showcase in 2017. She’s currently playing with the Metro United Development Academy in Washington, D.C. and is leading the team in scoring.
