Ross Rix enters his second season as a graduate assistant on the WKU Hilltopper Basketball staff in 2019-20.
Rix’s duties include assisting with day-to-day operations of the program, assisting with academic monitoring, helping coordinate on-campus recruiting visits and assisting in team and opponent video analysis.
Before coming to WKU, Rix was the head coach of the Louisiana Elite AAU program from 2013-15. He was also head boys’ basketball coach at Northside High School in Lafayette, La., from 2014-18.
Rix was also head coach at Jennings (La.) High School from 2013-14 and Catholic High School-New Iberia (La.) from 2011-13.
Prior to that, he was an assistant coach and multiple high schools and a student assistant coach at the University of Louisiana-Lafayette from 2008-09.
The Opelousas, La., native graduated from Louisiana-Lafayette in 2009.
