Jacob Hayslip enters his secind season as a graduate assistant on the WKU Hilltopper Basketball staff in 2021-22.
Hayslip's duties including assisting with the day-to-day operations of the program, assisting with all practices, workouts and games, processing practice and game film, and creating general and customized recruiting material. He also specializes in player development.
Hayslip served as a student manager for the Hilltoppers for five years from 2016-20. He graduated in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Spanish and minors in mathematics and athletic coaching.
He's currently pursuing a master's degree in recreation and sports administration with a concentration in athletic coaching.
A Louisville, Ky., native, Hayslip was an equipment manager for the Saint Xavier High School boys' basketball team for four years. He graduated from the school in 2015.
