2019 (r-Jr.) | 9/0: Lane appeared in nine games for the Hilltoppers, primarily on special teams coverage units. He made one catch for 12 yards on Sept. 14 vs. Louisville.
2018 (r-So.) | 5/1: Lane appeared in the first five games of the season and recorded seven catches for 55 yards as a redshirt sophomore. His most notable performance came in the season opener on Aug. 31 at No. 4 Wisconsin, where he notched four catches for 40 yards, including a season-long reception of 17 yards.
2017 (r-Fr.) | 12/5: Lane ranked sixth on the Hilltoppers with 27 receptions for 336 yards. On Sept. 23 vs. Ball State, he had career highs of six receptions for 86 yards - all in the first half - to lead the team, including a season-long grab of 25 yards in the second quarter. He finished the season with three grabs of 20-plus yards, the others coming on Sept. 16 vs. Louisiana Tech and in the Cure Bowl against Georgia State. He had at least three receptions in six contests, including five for 54 yards against the Bulldogs and four for 70 yards against the Panthers.
2016 (Fr.): Lane redshirted his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Lane prepped at Carver High School under coach Billy Gresham. Lane is ranked as three-star prospect by Rivals.com, 247Sports.com and Scout.com. Lane was tabbed at the No. 3 wide receiver and No. 14 player overall in Alabama by Scout.com after tallying 729 yards on 43 receptions as a senior. The receiver was named to the Class 6A Honorable Mention All-State team by the ASWA his senior season and played in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game. Lane was named to the Montgomery Advertiser first team All-Metro.
