2023 (r-Jr.) | 11/1: Springer played in 11 of WKU's 13 games during the 2023 season, with a start at safety against No. 6/4 Ohio State on Sept. 16. He finished the season with 11 total tackles and one quarterback hurry. Springer recorded season highs of three tackles in the season opener against South Florida on Sept. 2 and against New Mexico State on Nov. 11.
2022 (r-So.) | 3/1: Springer appeared in just three games in 2022 due to injury, but started in WKU's win at Charlotte. He finished the season with two tackles and intercepted a pass in WKU's victory over Rice.
2021 (r-Fr.) | 5/0: Springer made five appearances throughout the season. He recorded one tackle and made three pass breakups in limited action.
2020 (r-Fr.) | 6/0: Springer played in six games for the Hilltoppers, making three tackles on special teams coverage units. He will retain his redshirt freshman year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 (Fr.) | 1/0: Springer appeared in one game, on Nov. 9 at Arkansas, and redshirted his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Travares “T.J.” Springer played for head coach Arcentae Bloome, leading the Panthers to a 12-2 record and an appearance in the Class 4A Semifinals. During the 2018 season, MHS outscored opponents 480-to-166. As a senior, made 48 tackles, two tackles for loss, seven interceptions, seven pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and two defensive touchdowns, while catching 21 passes for 397 yards and five touchdowns on offense to go along with five conversions. As a junior, made 48 tackles - including four tackles for loss - one interception, 11 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries, while catching 31 passes for 641 yards and nine touchdowns on offense. He was named to the All-State Class 4A Team and All-Region 4-4A Team in 2018. In his junior season of 2017, he was named to the All-Region 4-4A Team as a wide receiver. Rated as a two-star with an 80 composite score by 247Sports, ranking 60th overall in the state and 215th nationally as a cornerback. He chose WKU over Southern Miss and Liberty.
