Rev. Wayne Dickens and his wife Stacey lead the Hilltoppers' Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) program, where they serve all Hilltopper student-athletes with leadership training and campus meetings. Their mission is to develop young men to succeed on and off the field, with the focus being on the next 40 years of their lives not only the next four.
Before WKU, Dickens served at his alma mater Auburn University. As a player Wayne was a four-year letterman, played in 51 games, starting 15, posted 105 tackles including 25 for loss and finished with 7.5 sacks. Wayne is a native of Lakeland, Fla., and graduated from Auburn in 2005.
Wayne and Stacey have been married since 2009. Stacey has worked alongside Wayne since 2012, helping him build the life skills programs with her expertise in communications, and by mentoring young female athletes. Stacey graduated from Auburn in 2007 with a degree in Interior Design and a minor in International Studies. Wayne and Stacey have three children: daughter Naomi, son Cannon and son Duke.
