John Kuceyeski joined the WKU Football staff in March of 2022 as the Director of Player Personnel.

Kuceyeski previously served as the Offensive Coordinator and Tight Ends Coach at Eastern Illinois University for three seasons from 2019 to ‘21. While at EIU, he coached three All-OVC Newcomers, two All-Conference honorees and one Freshman All-American.

Prior to that, Kuceyeski worked at Cornell University as the Running Backs and Tight Ends Coach for one season before becoming the Offensive Line Coach for two years. He also made stops at Iowa State University as the Director of Scouting, the University of Toledo as the Recruiting Coordinator and Western Michigan University as the Director of Player Personnel. Kuceyeski served as an Offensive Graduate Assistant Coach at Northwestern University, where he assisted with the offensive line, tight ends, wide receivers and special teams. Kuceyeski graduated from Penn State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance while serving as a student manager and undergraduate assistant coach during his four years at the school.
