Devon Lynch joined the WKU Football staff in the spring of 2025. He currently serves in a Quality Control – Football Strength and Conditioning role. The 2026 season will be his second on the WKU Football coaching staff, after playing two seasons with the Hilltoppers.
In his first season on staff, Lynch helped the Hilltoppers to a 9-4 record and a victory over Southern Miss in the 2025 New Orleans Bowl. Four Hilltoppers received NFL Rookie Minicamp invitations following his first season with the program.
Lynch played at WKU for two seasons in 2023 and 2024 to finish his college career. He appeared in 22 games with four starts during that time, adding depth to the linebacker room. He tallid 45 total tackles with the Hilltoppers, including three for loss and a sack.
He spent the three seasons prior at Shepherd College, where he appeared in 28 games for the Rams. Lynch is a native of Springfield, Virginia.
