2015 (Jr.): Hammond redshirted his first season on The Hill.
Before WKU: Hammond spent one season at Dodge City CC and prepped at Kennesaw Mountain HS in Kennesaw, Ga., for coach Andy Scott. At Dodge City, he finished third on his team in tackles with 51 (22 solo) to go along with seven tackles for loss, a sack and a forced fumble. He holds a spot in numerous career defensive records at his former high school including career sacks (4th, 6.5), single season sacks (5th, 4.5 in 2012), and fumbles recovered in a season (3rd, 2 in 2012).
