Before WKU: McCormack went to Louisville, where he appeared in two games during the 2018 season, completing 4-of-13 passes for 29 yards against Syracuse and Kentucky in the final month of the Cardinals’ campaign. He notched a 14-yard completion in the Carrier Dome on Nov. 9 and a career-long 15-yard pass in Cardinal Stadium on Nov. 24 against the Wildcats. McCormack also recorded a six-yard rush in each game.
HS/Misc.: McCormack was selected all-state by the Illinois Football Coaches Association as a senior. He was named Daily Herald first-team All-Area and was selected the Suburban Life Player of the Year. McCormack was a first-team West Suburban Gold all-conference honoree and named the team's most valuable player. He passed for 467 yards and four touchdowns versus Hinsdale Central and passed for six touchdowns in one half during second round of state playoffs. McCormack was a Nike Elite 11 Regional selection and voted an all-area performer on the basketball team.
