2014 Honorable Mention All-Conference USA
2015 (r-Jr.): A steady force in WKU's specialist unit, Dowling completed his third year as a starter executing 148 snaps with only one blocked kick, the first since Dowling became the starter. He added a pair of punt coverage tackles on the year, a solo tackle vs. Miami (Ohio) and an assisted tackle at the Miami Beach Bowl against South Florida.
2014 (r-So.): Dowling executed 142 error-free snaps for field goals, punts and extra points in 2014. As a team, WKU missed just five field goals and one extra point and fumbled a punt on the year but none due to poor snaps from Dowling.
2013 (r-Fr.): Dowling served as the primary long snapper in every game for the Hilltoppers. Dowling snapped 37 punts, 16 field goals and 47 extra points, tallying perfect snaps on each and did not allow a blocked punt or kick all season.
2012 (Fr.): Dowling redshirted in his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Dowling was a three-year starter at Belleville East High School, ranking as the sixth-best long snapper in the nation by Kohl's Kicking and 21st by Rubio Long Snapping. He was a three-time recipient of the Scholar-Athlete Character Award at Belleville East.
