2020 (Fr.) | 12/0: Whittington appeared in all 12 games for the Hilltoppers and accumulated 128 all-purpose yards. Had 16 carries for 39 yards, including a long rush of 15 yards on Sept. 12 at Louisville. Had five kickoff returns for 84 yards, including three for 84 and a season-long of 21 yards in the LendingTree Bowl vs. Georgia State. Also had three catches for five yards, as well as one tackle on special teams coverage. He will retain his freshman year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

HS/Misc.: Whittington led Peach County HS to an 11-2 record in his senior season, with the team going a combined 48-9 (.842) over his four years. Racked up 1,554 rushing yards and 30 touchdown rushes during his high school career on an impressive 8.0 yards per carry. Added 60 catches, 776 receiving yards and seven touchdown receptions over his career. Rated as a three-star recruit by ESPN with a 73 scout grade, which ranked 159th overall in the state of Georgia. Chose WKU over others such as Army and South Alabama.
