Before WKU: Gonzales joins the Hilltoppers as a transfer from Indiana State. He appeared in 20 games over two seasons with the Sycamores, totaling 30 tackles, five tackles for loss and three sacks, as well as a blocked kick. Of his 30 tackles, 26 came during his final season with the program in 2025, as did his five tackles for loss and three sacks. He spent the 2023 season at Cerritos College, where he appeared in eight games and posted 10 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and a pair of sacks as a freshman.
HS/Misc.: Gonzales prepped at Warren in California. He was named All-San Gabriel Valley League as a senior, and also received the Iron Bear Award and earned an Academic Award He had 22 tackles with eight sacks as a senior.
