2020 (Jr.) | 12/9: Tinsley played in all 12 games in the first season on The Hill while starting nine contests. Led WKU's receivers across the board with 43 receptions for 377 yards and four touchdowns. Had at least one reception in every game, including at least three catches in nine contests. Recorded season-highs of six grabs and 69 yards with one touchdown vs. Liberty. Also recorded scores at Louisville, UAB and Charlotte. Had a season-long 38-yard reception vs. Chattanooga. Also served as a the team's punt returner for about half the season. He will retain his junior year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before WKU: Tinsley compiled 57 receptions, 656 yards and four touchdown catches over two seasons with Hutchinson CC while helping to lead the Blue Dragons to a 19-5 record during that span. Rated as a three-star JuCo prospect with an 81 composite score from 247Sports, which ranks 34th among all JuCo wide receivers. Chose WKU over others such as Akron, Ball State, Marshall, UMass, New Mexico State, South Alabama, Southeast Missouri State and Tennessee Tech.
