2024 (Gr.) | 13/2: Mathison appeared in 13 games with two starts during the 2024 season. He finished the year with 143 yards and two touchdowns on 13 catches, and added 34 yards and a score on seven rushing attempts. Mathison posted all three touchdowns in WKU's Oct. 10 win against UTEP, and the three scores came on four touches in the game. He had a season-high 36 yards receiving the following game – a Hilltopper win at Sam Houston. Mathison posted a season-high three receptions in the Conference USA Championship Game at Jax State on Dec. 6.
2023 (Sr.) | 0/0: Mathison missed the 2023 season due to injury.
2022 (Jr.) | 14/9: Mathison played in all 14 games for the Hilltoppers during his debut season on The Hill, and made nine starts throughout the year. He hauled in 52 catched on the year for 615 yards and three touchdowns. Mathison's breakout game at WKU came against Troy when he made nine catches for 160 yards and a touchdown, with a long reception of 55 yards. Mathison also scored touchdowns against UTSA and Charlotte. He also handled WKU's kickoff return duties for the majority of the season, returning 21 kicks for 463 yards. His longest kickoff return came against Auburn when he ripped off a 55 yarder.
Before WKU: Played in 25 games for Akron. Recorded 706 receiving yards and three touchdown in 2021. Tallied 1,060 yards and five touchdowns during his time with the Zips.
HS/Misc.: Prepped at Newton High School in Covington, Ga. Held offers from Chattanooga, Alabama A&M, Morgan State, Seton Hill and Southern Illinois out of High School.
