2016 (r-Jr.) | 14/1: Nord returned from injury and played in all 14 games as a reserve offensive tackle and special teams contributor, earning the start against Houston Baptist. He appeared primarily at left tackle behind Forrest Lamp and was a situational substitute at right tackle.
2015 (Jr.): Nord was in line for major playing time as a true junior but a pre-season injury kept him out for the season. Nord redshirted as a result.
2014 (So.) | 13/0: Nord played primarily as a reserve tackle and protector on extra point and filed goal units in 2014. He rotated behind former right tackle Cameron Clemmons on a limited basis.
2013 (Fr.) | 4/0: Nord saw action in the final four games, primarily as a reserve tackle and on the special teams units.
HS/Misc.: Nord was a first team All-Catholic Football team member out of DeSales High School as an offensive lineman. Nord also tallied 17 tackles and one interception as a senior. He participated in the Battle of the bluegrass All-Star game as part of the Greater Louisville All-Stars team. Matt’s uncle, Greg Nord, formerly coached at WKU and is now at Florida.
