2018 (Fr.): Wright appeared in two games and redshirted his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Wright played for head coach Craig Buzea at Homewood-Flossmoor High School and was a team captain. He was a two-year starter, as the Vikings went 21-3 over his final two years. He racked up 104 tackles - including 20 for loss - and four sacks playing varsity ball. He was a three-star by 247Sports with a rating score of 83, ranking 34th overall in the state and 52nd nationally at his position. He chose WKU over 12 others including Syracuse, Western Michigan, Colorado State and Northern Illinois.
