2024 (r-So.) | 14/14: Carneiro handled field goal and PAT kicking duties in all 14 games during the 2024 season. He had one of the best seasons for a kicker in WKU history on his way to Conference USA Special Teams Player of the Year honors. Carneiro finished the season 18-for-19 on field goal attempts and 41-for-41 on PATs. He was 6-for-6 from 50-plus yards, with two 54-yard makes, which are tied for the second-longest made field goals in program history. He is the only CUSA kicker to go 6-for-6 on 50-plus yard field goals in a season since at least 1996, while only four others have gone at least 3-for-3 during that time. Carneiro's only miss came on his first attempt in the opener at Alabama, and his 18 consecutive made field goals are a program record. His 18 made field goals are tied for third-most in a single season in WKU history, while his 94.7% was the best mark in a single season in program history. His 27 made field goals in his carer at the end of the 2024 season puts Carneiro in seventh in WKU history in the category, while his 87.1% career field goal percentage is best in program history. His 88 consecutive made PATs dating back to the 2023 season are tied for third-most consecutively made PATs in program history, and the 88 total made are seventh-most in program history. Carneiro's two 54-yard makes came against UTEP on Oct. 10 – he made three field goals that game – and against Jax State in the CUSA Championship Game on Dec. 6. Carneiro made a career-high four field goals in the regular-season finale against Jax State on Nov. 30, including a game-winning 50-yard make with 3 seconds left that sent the Hilltoppers to the CUSA Championship Game. Carneiro was named the CUSA Preseason Player of the Year prior to the start of the season, received three CUSA Special Teams Player of the Week Awards during the season, and was named the leagues Special Teams Player of the Year and a First Team All-CUSA selection. Carneiro was also a Lou Groza Award semifinalist – the only one from CUSA.
2023 (r-Fr.) | 13/13: Carneiro stepped into kicking duties for WKU in all 13 games during the 2023 season. He was 9-of-12 on field goals during the season and a perfect 47-of-47 on PATs. Carneiro connected on two field goals in his debut against South Florida on Sept. 2 and was named Conference USA's Special Teams Player of the Week, and hit a season-long 45-yard field goal during WKU's 31-10 win over Middle Tennessee on Sept. 28. He made the 29-yard game-winning field goal in WKU's 38-35 overtime victory against Old Dominion during the Famous Toastery Bowl on Dec. 18. Carneiro was named CUSA All-Conference Honorable Mention and to the CUSA All-Freshman Team as a kicker.
