2024 (So.) | 4/0: Hayward appeared in four games during the 2024 season. He recorded two tackles, both of which came in the Oct. 10 win over UTEP.
2023 (Fr.) | 10/0: Hayward appeared in 10 games during his first season on The Hill. He recorded seven total tackles, providing depth to the linebacker room. He was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team as a linebacker.
HS/Misc.: Hayward prepped at Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Fla. He was ranked as a three-star recruit by 247Sports and On3. Hayward chose the Hilltoppers over offers from UAB, Arkansas State, Georgia Southern, UT Martin and Alabama A&M.
