2019 (r-So.) | 5/0: McClendon appeared in five games, rushing the ball nine times for 56 yards. He broke a career-long 24-yard rush on Oct. 26 at Marshall.
2018 (r-Fr.) | 7/0: McClendon appeared in seven games, recording one tackle on Nov. 10 at Florida Atlantic and a blocked field goal on Oct. 13 at Charlotte. It was a 32-yard attempt by the 49ers in the fourth quarter.
HS/Misc.: McClendon was first discovered by the WKU coaching staff during a 40-yard dash competition held for students prior to the 2017 football season. His athleticism jumped out to the staff and he joined the team in the spring of 2018. As a senior at Rossview HS, he rushed 78 times for 504 yards and four touchdowns, boasting an average of 6.5 yards per rush in eight games. Also added 11 receptions for 82 yards, an average of 10.3 yards per catch.
