Before WKU: Rockwell joined the Hilltoppers after a year at Prairie View A&M, where he led the team in receiving in 2025. Rockwell posted 74 catches for 1,161 yards and eight touchdowns in 14 games with the Panthers. He tallied three 100-yard receiving games in 2025, plus an additional three games where he had over 90 yards receiving. He spent the two seasons before that at Sam Houston, where he recorded 13 catches for 92 yards and a touchdown over 18 games played.
HS/Misc.: Rockwell was rated a three-star prospect out of Gilmer High School in Texas, where he was rated the No. 216 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 226 overall player in the state of Texas. He led Gilmer to the Class 3A Division I state championship game in 2021, and, as a senior, tallied 42 catches for 669 yards and nine touchdowns. He was named the District 6-4A II Newcomer of the Year in 2019 at Longview Spring Hill High School. He played at John Paul II High School in Plano, Texas, as a freshman in 2018.
