2020 (r-Sr.) | 12/11: Darvin played in all 12 games for the Hilltoppers and started 11 of them. Put up career bests with 31 total tackles (17 solo, 14 assisted), 5.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. The 31 total tackles ranked eighth on the team, 5.5 tackles for loss tied for fifth and three sacks tied for third. Had at least one tackle in all 12 games and multiple tackles in 9-of-12 contests. Also recorded one quarterback hurry and a pass breakup. Will be the first WKU Football player in program history to wear No. 0. He will retain his redshirt senior year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in turn – along with Antwon Kincade and DeAngelo Malone – will become the first Hilltoppers to earn five letters.
2019 (r-Jr.) | 10/6: Darvin appeared in 10 games for the Hilltoppers, including six starts. Of the 10 games he appeared in, he was at full heath in only six of them due to an injury he suffered on Oct. 12 vs. Army in the sixth game of the year. He totaled 22 tackles – including four for loss – 2.5 sacks and four quarterback hurries overall. In the first five games of the season, he totaled 18 tackles – including 3.5 for loss – two sacks and three quarterback hurries. On Sept. 28 vs. UAB, he intercepted a screen pass and returned it five yards; it was the first pick by a WKU defensive lineman since DeAngelo Malone had a pick on Sept. 15, 2018 at Louisville. Finally at full strength by the Hilltoppers' Nov. 23 game at Southern Miss, Darvin recorded three tackles – including 0.5 sacks – and one quarterback hurry. He was injured before the next week, however, and missed the final two games of the season.
2018 (r-So.) | 12/2: Darvin recorded 10 tackles and 2.5 sacks, starting in two contests and playing in all 12 games as a redshirt sophomore. He had one sack for six yards lost in the season opener on Aug. 31 at No. 4 Wisconsin, one sack for eight yards lost on Nov. 10 at Florida Atlantic and another assisted sack for three yards lost on Sept. 8 vs. Maine. He tallied a pair of quarterback hurries, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery on the year.
2017 (r-Fr.) | 8/0: Darvin appeared in the final eight games of the season at defensive tackle after not appearing in the first five contests. He had a pair of tackles on five occasions, then exploded for a career day in the final game of the year. In the Cure Bowl vs. Georgia State, he picked up seven total tackles, which tied for third-most on the Hilltoppers that afternoon, including 1.5 for loss.
2016 (Fr.): Darvin redshirted his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Darvin came to the Hill from Father Ryan HS, where he played for coach Bruce Lussier. In his senior season, he was named to the Division II All-State team by TSWA, first team All-Midstate by the Tennessean and Division II-AA All-Region team. He was ranked as a three-star prospect by most recruiting services including 247sports.com, Rivals.com, Scout.com and ESPN.com. Scout.com has him ranked as the second-best DT in the state and No. 47 in the south region. As a junior, he recorded 42 tackles – eight behind the line of scrimmage – two sacks and a pair of pass deflections.
