2019 Conference USA Honorable Mention
2019 (r-Sr.) | 13/13: George was a consistent and stable force in WKU's defensive interior, starting all 13 games at the tackle position. He recorded 36 total tackles (11 solo, 25 assisted), including four for loss, with three quarterback hurries and one forced fumble. George was a team captain for two games: vs. UAB and the First Responder Bowl against Western Michigan. He had at least one tackle in all 13 games and at least three tackles in eight games, including a season-high six vs. Louisville at Nissan Stadium.
2018 (r-Jr.) | 12/10: George recorded 28 tackles (14 solo, 14 assisted), including six for loss, and three sacks, starting in 11 contests and playing in all 12 games as a redshirt junior. He had one sack for seven yards lost at Ball State, one sack for 11 yards lost at Charlotte and one sack for three yards lost at Middle Tennessee. George tallied a career-high six tackles at Ball State, and then again vs. Old Dominion; he also had a five-tackle performance at Charlotte. He also added three quarterback hurries throughout the year.
2017 (r-So.) | 6/0: George appeared in six games in his first year on The Hill, making four tackles as a reserve defensive lineman. He had a season-high two tackles in the Cure Bowl vs. Georgia State, and assisted on a one-yard tackle for loss at Marshall.
Before WKU: George came to WKU after two seasons at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M including a redshirt season in 2015. George was third on the Golden Norsemen with 77 tackles and 9.5 sacks, while adding a team-best 12 tackles for loss in his redshirt freshman season in 2016. George had multiple sacks in five contests and multiple tackles for loss in three, and forced three fumbles. For his performance over the course of the 10-game season, he was named Honorable Mention All-SWJC Conference.
HS/Misc.: George prepped at North Clayton High School where he earned second team All-Region 4-AAA as a defensive lineman. He tallied 16 total tackles, two sacks and two interceptions during his senior season where he played both offensive guard and defensive tackle.
