HS/Misc.: Hampton prepped at New Hampstead High School, where he was rated a three star prospect at receiver by 247Sports, Rivals, and On3. He had 73 catches for 1,158 yards and 14 touchdowns in 10 games as a senior, according to his team's MaxPreps account, and added 86 yards and five scores on 11 rushing attempts. As a junior in 2022, he caught 48 passes for 712 yards and 10 touchdowns as he helped his team to a berth in Georgia's AAAA playoffs.
