He was named to the All-Conference USA Second Team for his efforts on the year, and he also served as WKU’s primary holder for the year.
2015 (r-Fr.): Collins became something of a utility man for the Hilltoppers in his first season of action, which ended in All-Conference USA Freshman Team and All-Academic Team honors. Collins became WKU’s primary punter for the final 11 games of the year, taking over following the Indiana game, took over kickoff duties for the final five games of the season, and took over holding duties for the final 10 games. Collins ended the year with 37 punts for 1,542 yards - a 41.7 yard average, the highest single-season average since Hendrix Brakefield’s 42.1 in 2012 and tied for sixth in single-season school history. Collins, typically a rugby-style punter, finished 19th nationally in Net Punting average at 40.4 yards, with just 13 returns for 28 yards of his 37 punts. He downed 14 of his 37 punts inside the 20, including a season-best 3-for-5 performance against Marshall. He had a season-long punt of 59 yards, one of seven 50-yarders, at North Texas. Collins added 44 kickoffs for 2,500 yards (56.8) with two touchbacks.
2014 (Fr.): Collins redshirted his first year on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Collins prepped at St. Xavier in Louisville where he was a place kicker and punter for the Tigers.
