2014 (Jr.): In his first season at WKU, Brown was a gap-plugging run stopper, leading the Hilltopper defense with eight tackles for loss on the season. He posted a career-high four tackles against UAB and also boasted a pair of tackles for loss in wins over Army and Old Dominion. Brown forced a fumble, setting up WKU's rally and comeback win at Navy. Brown played in all 13 games recording 22 tackles, eight for loss, and a fumble. Brown tallied at least a pair of tackles in seven of 13 games. Before WKU: In his sophomore season, Brown tallied nine tackles including six against East Central CC and three tackles for loss at Pearl River Community College with coach William Jones. Brown notched 25 tackles including seven for loss as a freshman. HS/Misc.: Brown earned All-State First Team and All-Area Honors as a high school senior at Petal High School in Petal, Miss. Brown played for coach Steve Buckley at Petal and helped the Panthers to a state runner-up showing during the 2011 season in the MHSAA Class 6A Championship. Brown was a two-star rated recruit by Rivals.com and Scout.com.
