2025 (r-Sr.) | 9/3: Jones appeared in nine games during his first season on The Hill. He started the final three games of the regular season. Jones finished the year with 14 total tackles, including a pair of tackles for loss, one sack, two quarterback hurries, one pass breakup and two fumble recoveries. He had a season-best five tackles in the regular-season finale at Jax State on Nov. 29. Jones' sack came in the Nov. 22 game at LSU. His fumble recoveries came in Conference USA games at Delaware on Oct. 3 and at Jax State, and his two fumble recoveries were second-most in CUSA during conference games in 2025.
Before WKU: Jones arrived at WKU after spending three seasons at Johnson C. Smith University. He appeared in five games during the 2024 season, totaling 15 tackles, three tackles for loss, one sack and one pass defended. He missed the 2023 season due to injury, but in 2022, Jones appeared in eight games with 28 tackles, five tackles for loss, a pair of sacks, an interception and two passes defended.
