Rocker played his high school football at Sandalwood High School in Jacksonville, Fla. Rocker was a dominant force along the Sandalwood offensive line, helping the team to an eight-win season in 2012, tallying 34 pancake blocks. Rocker and Sandalwood made an appearance on national television during his senior season, taking on DeLand High School in an ESPN-televised game. Following his junior season of 2011, Rocker was named to the Orlando Sentinel[apos]s North Florida Super60 list after leading the Saints to an 8-2 record, averaging a 31-point margin of victory in those eight wins. Rocker, rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals.com and ESPN.com, chose WKU over offers from Arizona, Iowa State, Marshall, Memphis and Pittsburgh, among others. Donald Rocker is the cousin of current Hilltopper defensive end Gavin Rocker.
