2017 (r-So.) | 5/1: Nixon saw the field in five games for the Hilltoppers, recording one reception for 7 yards on Oct. 14 vs. Charlotte. His first start came vs. Eastern Kentucky in the season opener.
2016 (r-Fr.) | 2/0: Nixon appeared in two games as a redshirt freshman, against Houston Baptist and North Texas.
2015 (Fr.): Nixon redshirted his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Nixon prepped at Viera High School, helping his team to a 9-1 overall record in 2014 and picking up an invitation to the Central Florida All-Star game in the process. Nixon was a 2014 Central Florida All-Star and a 2014 FACA All-District first teamer. He was an All-Space Coast honorable mention selection and was rated as the No. 188 athlete in the nation by 247Sports.com.
