2023 (r-Jr.) | 11/7: Baker returned from injury to be a key contributor at linebacker for the Hilltoppers during the 2023 season, in which he saw action in 11 of the team's 13 games with seven starts. Baker totaled 46 tackles – the fourth-most on the team – with three tackles for loss and one sack. He forced one fumble, recorded an interception, had two quarterback hurries, and broke up one pass during the 2023 campaign. Baker had a season-high nine tackles in WKU's 21-13 win at UTEP on Nov. 4, and also posted a season-high 1.5 tackles for loss against the Miners. His one forced fumble came at Troy on Sept. 23, while his interceptions came in the 41-24 win over South Florida in the season-opener on Sept. 2 and in the 28-23 win over Sam Houston on Nov. 18 – the latter helped close out the Hilltoppers' victory over the Bearkats. He ranked 10th in Conference USA in 2023 in interceptions per game.
2022 (Jr.): Did not see action due to injury.
Before WKU: Earned all-league honors and was credited with 37 tackles, four TFLs (1.5 sacks), two PBUs one fumble recovery, one interception and one blocked kick at Northwest Mississippi Community College. Started 7 games and recorded 34 tackles at Rice.
HS/Misc.: Prepped at Clinton High School in Clinton, Miss. Played linebacker and receiver.
