2015 (r-Jr.): Maxwell saw action in 13 games and started at H-Back in WKU's opening drive of the season at Vanderbilt as the Hilltoppers began the drive from inside their own five-yard line. He did not tally a statistic but was used intermittently as a blocking full back and protector on field goals.
2014 (r-So.): Maxwell sat out after transferring from NAIA Georgetown College.
Before WKU: Maxwell originally attended Georgetown College where he converted to tight end after a high school career of playing linebacker.
HS/Misc.: Maxwell prepped at Pleasure Ridge Park HS in Louisville where he was a three-year starter for the Panthers. He played tight end, linebacker, defensive line and some offensive line. Maxwell was named All-District at two positions, was an honorable mention All-State linebacker and played in the “Best of the Bluegrass” All-Star game.
