2024 (r-Jr.) | 8/1: Starling appeared in eight games for the Hilltoppers during the 2024 season. He started one game – at Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 7. Starling recorded three receptions for 56 yards during the season, and he also had a pair of tackles during the season.
Before WKU: Starling played four seasons at Virginia prior to his arrival at WKU. The receiver appeared in 28 games with four starts during that time with the Cavaliers, and posted 11 receptions for 188 yards and two touchdowns. He appeared in only two games in 2023 during his final year with the program and redshirted. Starling played in nine games with two starts in 2022, with three catches for 75 yards, and appeared in 11 games with four receptions for 93 yards and a score the season prior. In 2020 during his first season of college football, Starling played in six games with 20 yards and a touchdown on four receptions.
HS/Misc.: Starling prepped at East Nashville Magnet High School, where he caught 34 passes for 454 yards and five touchdowns as a senior in 2019. He also had 87 yards and one score on 12 rushing attempts. He earned Class 3A Region 4 honors as a receiver for a team that went 10-2 and finished ranked No. 5 in the state’s 3A poll. He was a three-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports. Starling was also a track and field standout, and was selected All-State by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association in the 100m, 200m, and 400m in 2019 during his first year of competition. He won the state title in the 400m with a time of 48.3, was second in the 100m with a time of 10.74, and was third in the 200m with a time of 21.8. He also played basketball for East Nashville Magnet High.
