2020 (r-Jr.) | 8/0: Trotter played in six games, primarily on special teams units. He will retain his redshirt junior year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 (r-So.) 9/0: Trotter appeared in nine games for the Hilltoppers, seeing most of his time on multiple special teams units. He made one tackle, but it was a big one – stopping a Middle Tennessee fake punt attempt to give the ball back to WKU with excellent field position.
HS/Misc.: Trotter originally committed to play for the Sycamores after a prep career that featured 83 tackles, four interceptions and nine pass breakups, as well as 1,056 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns overall. Rated as a two-star with a 77 composite score by 247Sports, ranking 91st overall in the state and 219th nationally at the safety position.
