2022 (Sr.) | 14/7: Shipp appeared in all 14 games for WKU during the 2022 campaign while making seven starts. He made 22 tackles on the season, including one for loss at UTSA. Shipp's best performance of the year came against North Texas when he recorded four tackles. He also recorded three quarterback hurries throughout the course of the season.
2021 (Jr.) | 14/14: Shipp started all 14 games for the Hilltoppers while helping the team win a Conference USA East Division Championship. He closed the year with 41 tackles including 5 for loss and 1.5 sacks. Shipp also added three QB hurries, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery. His season-high for tackles came against Middle Tennessee when he tallied six.
2020 (Jr.) | 10/0: Shipp played in 10 games in his first season on The Hill, with 13 total tackles (six solo, seven assisted) – including four for loss. In the final two games on Dec. 6 at Charlotte and in the LendingTree Bowl vs. Georgia State, combined for seven tackles – including three for loss – and a sack against the Panthers. He will retain his junior year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before WKU: Shipp spent two seasons at Northeast Mississippi CC where he registered 50 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks and two forced fumbles. Rated as a three-star JuCo prospect by 247Sports with an 81 rating score, which ranks 19th among all JuCo defensive tackles. Chose WKU over others such as Charlotte, East Carolina, South Alabama, Southern Illinois and Troy.
