2018 (r-Sr.) | 8/3: Ferby finished his senior campaign with 62 rushes for 274 yards and six touchdowns. His six rushing touchdowns were the most rushing touchdowns by any Hilltopper this season. Ferby's 62 rushing attempts and 274 yards were second-most among Hilltopper running backs. On Sept. 15 against Louisville, he finished with 16 carries for a season-high, 74 yards and one touchdown. Ferby finished out the season on a high note, scoring four times in two games, posting 18 carries for 69 yards and two touchdowns on Nov. 17 against UTEP and 11 carries for 67 yards and two scores on Nov. 24 against Louisiana Tech.
2017 (r-Jr.) | 11/6: Ferby led the Hilltoppers with 117 rushes for 373 yards and three touchdowns. He also established new career-highs with 13 receptions for 84 yards, catching at least one pass in eight games. He started off the season with a bang, with 19 carries for 57 yards and a pair of touchdowns on Sept. 2 vs. Eastern Kentucky. His other score came via an 11-yard rush in the second quarter vs. Florida Atlantic on Oct. 28 in Houchens-Smith Stadium. Overall, he had 30-plus yards rushing in seven contests, including a season-high 64 yards on a season-high 21 carries on Nov. 17 vs. Middle Tennessee.
2016 (r-So.) | 1/0: Ferby missed the season after sustaining an injury on his first carry of the season against Rice.
2015 (r-Fr.) | 13/4: Ferby was the thunder to WKU’s one-two punch at running back in his first season of action. He finished his rookie campaign with All-Freshman team honors on the power of 650 yards on 164 carries with 11 touchdowns, the third-most among freshman running backs in the country. Ferby was particularly punishing in late game scenarios, routinely running over defenders on his way to converting 37 first downs and five fourth down conversions in eight attempts. Ferby also caught nine passes for 33 yards and had a two-point conversion reception against Louisiana Tech while his season-long run of 35 yards came at LSU, setting up an eventual touchdown for the Hilltoppers. Ferby saw action in 13 of 14 games and earned four starts in consecutive games at Indiana, vs. Miami (Ohio), at Rice and vs. MT. Ferby’s fourth-quarter run in the C-USA Championship Game, bowling over a Southern Miss defender, capped the contest with an exclamation point. He finished that game with a pair of touchdown runs on 21 attempts for 57 yards.
2014 (Fr.): Ferby redshirted in his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Ferby joined the Hilltoppers after winning a Division II 2A state championship at Ensworth High School with coach Ricky Bowers. In eight games, Ferby rushed for 1,322 yards and 22 touchdowns, pushing his career total to 2,151 yards and 28 touchdowns. Ferby was named the Division II-AA Tennessee Mr. Football and was a Tennessee Sportswriters Association first-team All-State performer. The Tennessean named Ferby to their first-time All-Midstate squad while 247Sports.com, Scout.com, ESPN.com, and Rivals.com all had Ferby as a three-star prospect. Ferby was the No. 34 prospect in Tennessee by ESPN.com and the No. 23 prospect by 247Sports.com.
