Before WKU: Verrett spent three seasons at Texas A&M-Kingsville prior to coming to WKU in January 2026. He appeared in 23 games over three seasons with the Javelinas, posting 78 total tackles, two tackles for loss, an interception and 10 passes defended. During the 2025 season – his final at Texas A&M-Kingsville – Verrett recorded 43 tackles, one tackle for loss and five passes defended. In 2024, he had 33 tackles, a tackle for loss and an interception that he returned 98 yards for a touchdown against Western New Mexico.
HS/Misc.: Verrett prepped at Hightower High School in Texas. As a senior, he recorded 34 tackles, two tackles for loss and a pair of interceptions in 13 games.
