Elvin Fofanah joined the WKU Football coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season. He currently serves in a Quality Control – Tight Ends role.
Fofanah joins the staff after a playing career that included two seasons at WKU in 2023 and 2024. During his first season on The Hill, Fofanah – a tight end – appeared in one game at No. 6/4 Ohio State, and in his second season, he appeared in four games with a pair of catches for nine yards. He played his final season of college football at Gardner-Webb, where he appeared in 10 games and caught three passes for 63 yards and a touchdown. Prior to his arrival at WKU, Fofanah spent two seasons at Lindsey Wilson College, where he appeared in 20 games.
Fofanah is a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and graduated from Bowling Green High School.
