Chris Springer serves as a defensive graduate assistant with the Hilltoppers where he leads the cornerbacks for the 2016 season.
Springer came to The Hill prior to the 2014 season following one season at Eastern New Mexico University, a member of NCAA Division II and the Lone Star Conference. With Springer on staff, ENMU had its first winning season since 2004 and secured their first LSC title since 1991. Springer, coaching the wide receiver and working on the strength staff, helped mentor Jacob Johnson to All-LSC second team honors.
In the summer of 2014, Spring also interned with the Hilltopper strength staff under the direction of coach Justin Lovett.
Springer earned his bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Lindenwood University in 2013, where he was also a two-year letterman and captain as a defensive back in his senior season.
