2019 (r-Jr) | 13/7: Davis appeared in all 13 games for the Hilltoppers, including seven starts. He totaled 60 tackles (27 solo, 33 assisted) – including three for loss – two quarterback hurries and three pass breakups. He started the last six games of the season, accumulating 50 of his 60 tackles in those contests. His season-best game came in a start on Nov. 30 vs. Middle Tennessee, when he had 13 tackles (seven solo, six assisted) – including two for loss and his first-career FBS sack – as well as a forced fumble in the fourth quarter that led to a game-clinching touchdown for WKU. He reached the double-digit mark two other times, with 10-tackle performances on Oct. 26 at Marshall and in the First Responder Bowl vs. Western Michigan.
2018 (Jr.): Due to NCAA transfer rules, Davis sat out the 2018 season.
Before WKU: Davis went to Tennessee Tech, where he appeared in 22 games and registered 129 tackles (67 solo, 62 assisted) in two seasons with 5.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions and six pass breakups.
HS/Misc.: Davis was an all-state linebacker, a two-time all-district wide receiver, an all-district middle linebacker and an all-district outside linebacker. He helped lead his team to four district championships. In his career, he recorded 191 total tackles, and caught passes for 1,515 total yards and 22 touchdowns.
