2020 (r-Jr.) | 6/0: Marria played in six games for the Hilltoppers. He was as a key member of multiple special teams units and saw some snaps on the defensive line, making three tackles on the campaign. He will retain his redshirt junior year of eligibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 (r-So.) | 8/0: Marria appeared in eight games for the Hilltoppers, seeing most of his time on multiple special teams units. He did make a significant play for his first career tackle on Oct. 26 at Marshall, with a three-yard tackle for loss on the first play after temporarily subbing in for starter DeAngelo Malone.
2018 (r-Fr.): Marria did not see any time as a redshirt freshman for WKU.
2017 (Fr.): Marria redshirted his first season on The Hill.
HS/Misc.: Calder “C.J.” Marria, Jr. came to The Hill via Jonesboro High School where he played under coach De’Timothy Floyd. Marria picked up All-Region 4 6A honors as a senior at defensive line for his play on the field which included 22 tackles for loss, two sacks and a pair of pass breakups by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. A two-sport star, including basketball, Marria was a consensus three-star prospect across all major recruiting services and the No. 97 player out of Georgia for the 2017 class by 247Sports.
