Before WKU: Perusse joined the Hilltoppers after spending two seasons at UNC Pembroke, where he appeared in 20 games as the team’s long snapper. He played in 10 games in each of those two seasons. He posted three total tackles, as well as a fumble recovery. He was named to the MEC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
HS/Misc.: Perusse prepped at Wellington High School in Florida, where he was named the team’s Offensive MVP. He earned All-County honors. As a senior, he caught 23 passes for 273 yards and a touchdown in 10 games, according to his team’s MaxPreps account.
