HS/Misc.: Myers played for head coach Steve Smith at Piedmont HS, leading the Bulldogs to the Alabama state semifinals in 2017. He was a team captain on the field and an Honor Roll student in the classroom. Myers accumulated 184 tackles - including 14 for loss - with 12 interceptions, 31 pass breakups, four forced fumbles and five fumble recoveries in his first three seasons of varsity ball. He played primarily quarterback as a senior, with 896 yards and 13 touchdowns passing to go along with 1,071 yards and 16 touchdowns rushing. As a junior, he also put up 646 yards and eight touchdowns receiving while adding 482 kick return yards. He finished his high school career with 3,204 all-purpose yards. He was rated as a three-star with an 80 composite score by 247Sports, ranking 70th overall in the state and 185th nationally at his position. He chose WKU over 14 others including Tulane, Appalachian State, Toledo, Southern Miss and Middle Tennessee.
